Six Stars was started in 2003 by Bill Larkin. Larkin, a former corporate executive who successfully ran both public and private, large, diversified companies, saw the need to provide a service that would save time for people of all ages and incomes. Time is a finite commodity and no one knows how much of it we have. Larkin researched the concierge, errand services and personal assistant businesses worldwide. What he discovered was that while this is a fast-growing area, 95% of the business is handled out of the home and are mom and pop operations. In addition, there are a handful of larger entities, however, they predominately focus on corporate clients. While Six Stars has corporate clients, its primary focus is on individual households.
Six Stars also identifies itself by operating out of an office with a trained staff of personal assistants and errand runners which are both on staff and contract. The office has a customized database that allows Six Stars to capture all relevant information about its members, thereby enhancing efficient and time effective operations
and response.
Most competitors require a 24-hour notice. Six Stars gets 90% of their requests handled the same day.
Members not only save themselves time, they reduce stress in their lives and find they have a more enjoyable lifestyle-more time to purse the things that really matter.
